The Lighting Workshop

This is the video of me taking the photos.

These are the other photos:

The light is the dimmest on this photo.

The lights are not quite as dim as the previous picture, however, it has a rather low lighting and has created a shadow.

The lights are about mid way on this photo and although there is a shadow, it seems a bit brighter.

This photo has the brightest setting and really shows off the colour of the trainers.

The lights have been re arranged and slightly dimmed so it looks as if the light is coming in on an angle.

My favorite picture is the fourth one because it has a really nice shadow, but still makes the color look vibrant.

Self Assessment

Self Assessment -

Why did we use studio light to photograph our trainer (discuss the quality of image)?
We used the studio light to photograph the trainers because it could show different shades of the colours and created shadows and effects you can't get on the internet. It also made the images less pixelated.

How did you use the lighting kit in own your photography for your final poster?

I haven't yet finished my final poster, but that is a next step for Wednesday's lesson.

What do you need to do next week (Computer Design for final poster using Illustrator and Photoshop)?
Set yourself three steps
1. Upload the photos of the trainers onto blogger.
2. Finish off my poster.
3. Upload my final poster to blogger.

New Final Design Mock up

This is now my final design. I re made the design because everything from the setting to the shoes were wrong and weren't helping create the effect and 'message' that I wanted. To add, it is  more likely that I will be able to actually create this advert because I can photograph some shoes that are the same type as these.
